Weather dictates our riding schedule.
In the spring, summer and fall, we often ride in the early morning or

See other policies below.
If it is raining or there is a threat of lightening,
we don't ride.
Your ride will last about 1 1/2 hours
from the time we leave the barn and includes a safety
briefing and warm up.
Then we head out on the ranch where we ride through open fields
and woodlands, pass by the stock pond where we often see ducks and
geese, and take in the views of the surrounding area from the windmill
at the top of the hill. The terrain is relatively flat.
Our Horses
We maintain a string of ranch geldings on which can accommodate
beginning to advanced riders. We match each rider to a horse depending
on the rider's age, size and riding experience. Our horses are working
ranch horses and are not "nose to tail" trail mounts.
No unaccompanied riding is permitted.
All riders must demonstrate the ability to
stop, turn and move forward at will before being taken out to the open areas of the Farm.
We cannot take riders with physical or mental disabilities out on the
ranch.
Unruly, unsafe or disrespectful behavior will result in the immediate
termination of a ride.
